Who are we?
We are Filipino Catholic laymen and laywomen united in the Spirit of Mission who strive together to live the values of the Kingdom and witness God's unconditional love to one another and to the world.
“The whole Church is missionary, and the work of evangelization is a basic duty of the People of God. Where lay responsibility is absent the Church is incomplete.”
- Vatican II – AA 21
“God is launching us into a new age of mission. We need to be open, daring and thankful….
The Fil-Mission Society (now known as MSP) and the Philippine Lay Mission Society (now known as PCLM) are both flourishing... These are among the many signs of missionary awakenings for which we thank the Lord of the harvest.”
- PCP II Document part II par. 107
What do we do?
We believe that we are called to preach the Good News especially to the poor, help build the Church and serve the Kingdom by permeating the world with Gospel values.
In preaching the Good News, it is our task to assist in building Basic Ecclesial Communities (BEC) and in forming and training local leaders who can help these communities become self-supporting, self-nourishing and self-sustaining.
We send our missionaries to different parishes in the Philippines and abroad especially Asia.
